Hey GF!!! Let's see a favorite birthday memory, well I don't know if this a favorite memory, but it's one that sticks out! When I was 7 I had a pinata for my birthday party. For whatever reason, my parents thought it would be a good idea to use a real wooden bat to try and bust it open with. So I took my turn, then a few of my friends, and then my brother took his turn. The next thing I knew I was waking up on the floor. He had swung and missed the pinata, knocking me completely out!!! LOL!

Growing up we didn't celebrate birthdays very often - so for my
16th birthday my BROTHER threw me
a birthday party at our house...let
me tell you, there were so many people there that I didn't even know some of them...it was crazy, and amazing all at the same time.
To top it off, that's the night I met my high school sweetheart for the next couple of years. It was a really, really sweet thing my brother did for me. Such a wonderful memory...sure wish I had some pics though :)

Happy Birthday Lucy....
My family wasn't great for surprise celebrations.. so when I turned 50 they had a surprise party with family and friends.. that is the best way to celebrate.. with ones you love.
Scarlett watch out for those pinatas.

Last year was a great birthday. I turned 40. I went out to eat with a bunch of friends then we all went to the grand opening of the new Super Joann's in our area. Then my mom and I went to Archivers and I spent a bunch of money. Then we went to Best Buy and I bought the new printer I wanted then we went to Michaels and I got that shelving unit that Making Memories has. Then the next day I went to my mom's and she made chinese. Then on my actual birthday we had a carry in at work and I got flowers, presents and balloons. When I got home from work my husband had a huge bouquet of roses and $300 in an envelope. I bought a new camera and a 4gb memory card and paper to print pics on. It was truly a great birthday! Then we went to MILs and she made me dinner!

Happy Birthday to you! My favorite birthday memory is a birthday weekend Victor planned. Every meal was eaten out - he arranged for my parents to take me if he was at work - so from Friday morning till Sunday night no cooking! And he and the kids made an 8 X 8 scrapbook page cake - so cute! A wonderful birthday!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY LUCY!!!
I think my favorite bday memory was when I turned 30.. I was NOT looking forward to it.. but My sister watched my kids for two night and hubby and I went up to Park City and just hung out, went to dinner, saw one my fave bands in concert, got a massage and played and hung out like we were dating again.. IT made turning 30 aloooot easier!! IT was a great bday.

my favorite birthday memory was just last year. (I can't remember much further back than that!) We are at a scrapbooking retreat around the time of my birthday and I went for a walk and got back the place was all decorated up and they had a cake and several had done layouts of our friendships and put in an album for me. Made me feel special.

I have 2 favorite memories. For my 39th b/d, I had a swim party at my daddy's house. For my 40th b/d, my daddy and stepmom took me to Chesapeake Beach to eat and hang out. Both were awesome.

Happy Birthday, Lucy!!
One of my favorite birthday memories was from my childhood. My parents had a basement and just before birthdays they would lock the door and not let us go down there 'til party day. When we napped and slept they worked like mad to transform a cold basement into a party palace!! Balloons and streamers, etc. It was magical. I remember going down the stairs and seeing how festive and pretty it looked and being totally amazed!

Happy birthday Lucy!

I'd say my most memorable birthday would be the surprise 30th my mom and sister threw for me. I had no idea at all!! Mom took me out to dinner, then we were gonna go up to the legion for a drink with some friends. Mom said we should go in thru the back, and there was a bunch of people there. I was so surprised and overwhelmed I cried just a bit. *blush*

Happy Birthday Lucy!
My favorite birthday memory... I turned 14. I had broken my leg a couple of weeks before and was feeling down in the dumps. My mom, my bf, and bf's mom put together a surprise birthday party for me. It was so much fun. What a great way to lift my spirits.

One of my favorite birthday memories was actually my moms 30th birthday. My sister and I decided to make her a cake. We also made the icing. It ended up being too runny and it ran all over the top of the cake when we decorated it. I can still picture it in my head. We also decorated and surprised her when she came home. It was a lot of fun and she loved it.

My favorite birthday memory is probably when my SO surprised me, this was early in our relationship, but he made arrangements for dinner and then we went to a local pub where his brother was playing in a band and we danced all night long.

This may not seem like big deal to most people but my fav birthdau memory was the birthday when my present was actually wrapped in birthday paper. You see, my birthday is right after Christmas and my parents would always ask me to choose a present from under the tree to open on my birthday. All my presents were wrapped in Christmas paper and were actually my Christmas present. Then one year they handed me a present wrapped in actual birthday paper. I was so thrilled. :)
