This contest is all about the heart...recipe of the heart for our layout and card designers

Layout Contest:
*Create a layout about what truly inspires you as a scrapbooker. It can be anything
*Go to the gallery and check out the sketches I have in it and in the blog and choose one that will fit with your layout creation
*Upload to the gallery and link it back here
*One winner will recieve this as a prize donated by our sponsor

Card Contest:
*Create a card that reflects you as a card maker and a special quote to reflect that
*Go the card gallery and choose one of the sketches there or on the blog to create your creation *Upload your creation to the gallery and link it back here
*One winner will recieve this prize donated by our sponsor


The contest will run June 15th to July 10th

Winners will be announced on July 15th

Do you have a passion for scrapbooking?
Do you love to create cards?
Do you love Sketches?
Then send in your application!

We are looking for layout and card sketch designers for My Sketch World.

Submissions are from June 15, 2009 to July 10, 2009
The names of the new designers will be posted on July 15, 2009 on the blog
First reveal of their work with new sketches will be August 1, 2009

You must me registered at My Sketch World Forum before you send in the application and we would like to get to know you during the call

Please include this with your creations:
Name
MSW username
Email Address
Blog Link
Online Gallery links
Resume or list

Please Send us : 4 of your favorite layouts or cards that is based by my sketches. They don’t have to be new.

The Design Team will be required to:
Must have a blog to post your creations and events that will be going on at MSW
Complete 1 or 2 layouts/cards per month using my sketches that I provide
Host a DT Challenge every other month during your term
Participate in our crops
Participate in Message Board and DT blog discussions on a regular basis
Leave praise in the gallery
Post your DT creations on galleries and blogs throughout the web, whenever possible
Help moderate the MB and alert the Admin if you find anything inappropriate
Post our Design Team Blinkie in your signatures where permitted and also on your blog

This is a Term is for 6 months position from August 2009 until January 2010

Our Guest Designer for the the Month is June is Scarlett Salamone

Greetings! My name is Scarlett Salamone and I am elated, as well as, honored to be My Sketch World's June Guest Design Team Member!!! I have been scrapbooking for 10+ years, but it has only been about the past 6 months or so that I got hooked into the online world of scrapbooking! I love being able to connect with others having the same passion. The best part of scrappin' to me is adding the details! Fussy cutting, oodles of bellies, and 3D elements can often be found on all my work!

I am married to a wonderful husband, Dean, and we have 2 children. Malik is 12, almost 13, and Whitney is 9. They are my main scrap subjects! We live in WI on a hobby farm where my husband runs his dog kennel business. I am a teacher in the inner city and have quite a hike to work each day, but it is well worth it!! I guess you could say I'm a country mouse and a city mouse!

I am looking forward to this month full of fun! I hope you enjoy the challenge I have in store for you!!
